AMBULANCE & RETRIEVAL SERVICE

To provide basic skills, knowledge and experience, that can be applied to help reduce the risk, improve safety and the chances of survival in the event of a major emergency.

HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS TRAINING (H.E.A.T)

These sessions enable you to deal with a huge range of potential issues that you could face whilst in any location across the globe.

RGS-IBG OFF-SITE SAFETY MANAGEMENT (O.S.S.M) AWARD

The OSSM is a response to concerns about safety in off-site activities. It gives attendees the chance to understand the relevant legislation in practical situations.

REMOTE REGION FIRST AID AWARD

The purpose of these courses is to maintain physical and psychological health under the stresses and challenges of remote region travel and work.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

LEVEL 2

The QA Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.

HOSTAGE MITIGATION & SURVIVAL

These lecture-based and practical sessions cover detainee conduct during a captive situation.

REMOTE LIVING
2 Day Course

Completion of this course will provide you with a basic understanding of the principles of Survival and Remote Living skills, including practical techniques to enable better individual and team self-reliance and planning.

GAP YEAR PLANNING & SECURITY AWARENESS

Whatever your age, experience, budget or destination, we can help you develop your plans, build your survival knowledge, self-reliance and ability to deal with whatever comes your way.

NAVIGATION

The Emergency Natural Navigation course provides confidence and reassurance when you are navigationally misplaced.

SECURITY MANAGEMENT & PLANNING

The dangers of humanitarian aid and international incident response work are highlighted daily. It is important that our Team Leaders understand the threats, and have processes in place when making decisions to mitigate them.

REMOTE LIVING

Completion of this course will provide you with a basic understanding of the principles of Survival and Remote Living skills, including practical techniques to enable better individual and team self-reliance and planning.

AXE CARVING

This one day course provides a unique introduction to the evolution of spoon making from elementary survivalist to specialist bush-crafter.

EXPEDITION RISK ASSESSMENT & PLANNING

This course is for anyone working with adults or children in situations or locations outside of their everyday environment.

ADVANCED SURVIVAL TRAINER LEVEL 4

We have developed our Advanced Survival Trainers course to comply with the Northern Council For Education (NCFE) training centre regulations.

BASIC LAND SURVIVAL

LEVEL 2

This course was devised to provide a formal qualification in recognition of completing an introductory programme with Survival Wisdom. The course includes theoretical and practical self-reliance training.
