About the event
The Survival Wisdom Team guide will take you on a historic walk through the beautiful Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, on the historic Rame Peninsula. The walk will include many historic facts and stories of some of the unique and inspirational pioneeers who have sailed from this location and off to discover new lands and experiences. As we walk learn some new skills of how to recconect with nature, tune in to the landscape and navigate without a map and compass. The walking grade is 1-2* and we will take in many of the views as we guide you around Forests, Coastline and the Deer park, so bring a flask if you wish.
We will finish at the house and the Barrow Centre which has a cafe and all the facilities required.
- walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. May include unsurfaced rural paths.…
