John
A former RAF helicopter pilot, John has worked as a full time military survival instructor for over ten years. He recently designed and implemented the training and induction process for all UK military survival instructors, for whom he is also chief instructor and mentor. John has also written the new joint services survival training manual and runs all of the extreme environment survival training courses for the UK military. John is an incredibly experienced instructor, who has designed and delivered training for many civilian organisations, from scouts to disaster response teams.Rob
Rob has been a survival instructor for 12 years, and has taught to a wide range of clients all over the World. He is at present responsible for training all new military survival instructors. His dedication and enthusiasm for the subject of survival ensures an unrivalled learning experience for students and instructors alike. Rob is a natural and very experienced mentor and will strive to improve the performance of his students and potential survival instructors of all ages. Alf
Alf served with the RAF for 23 years including time as a member of the Tri Service Conduct After Capture unit. During his time there Alf was the project leader for developing the UK hostage brief and is considered an expert in this field. Alf travels the world delivering this type of training to many clients including the United Nations. Alf held the post of Military Survival Equipment & Trials Officer for four years responsible for trialling, reporting and making recommendations on all survival equipment in service with UK forces. Through his efforts MoD Survival Equipment was updated and the equipment sets he compiled are in service Worldwide. Alf is a qualified Military survival instructor and has experience in all environmental zones.Dicky
Dicky, has trained the highest level government officials, members of the media, journalists, celebrities and aid agency volunteers over 25 years as a professional trainer. Dicky is a qualified military survival instructor, and was the senior training manager of the UK joint service survival school. As lead instructor for our First Aid training programme, he can tailor courses to fit environmental specific hazards you may encounter. This is done to HSE standards. Dickyʼs other passion is sailing and he is an experienced Sea Survival Instructor. Dicky has an infectious style and this is supported by the success of the students taught by him. Dicky has visited some of the Worlds remotest areas, and has put his skills to use in real situations.
Chris (Consultant Instructor)
Chris has taught survival skills for over 20 years all over the world for military and civilian clients. He is currently working in the Middle East developing desert survival and rescue procedures for a number of specialist organisations. A man with a “hands on” approach to training, Chris sets high standards for himself and his students. Chris has a passion for all areas of the survival subject and is always looking to find new bits of equipment, or techniques and then developing the appropriate training, to ensure the maximum benefit to any potential survivor.
